Summer 2025
In 2025, we will run SCIP for San Francisco State University, University of Oregon students in biology and chemistry, we will offer 4 cohorts (R, Python, ImageJ/analysis in python and Machine Learning).
SCIP Summer 2025 Goals
Our goal for the Summer 2025 Science Coding Immersion Program (SCIP) was to help participants learn how to code in their own teams and create a community of scientists among undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty/staff in the San Francisco Bay Area colleges as well as students in the UC/CSU system and University of Oregon. Participants were in large part within the Biology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry department.
