​We are enrolling for the EEB BIPOC program until June 9th 2023. You can sign up if you are a student of color in California with an interest in ecology or evolution

SCIP is free, online, and low-stress. 

SCIP will look good on your resume and you will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program. 

We offer tracks in R for beginners, Python for beginners, ImageJ, and Image analysis in Python.

The Science Coding Immersion Program (SCIP) is a FREE coding "boot camp" for students in Biology and Biochemistry in all academic levels (undergraduates and beyond). We aim to help student learn how to code and build a community with other amazing students.

Python is a well-known, general-purpose programming language. It is used in many fields, like web development and data science. Python is implemented into data analysis and modeling in Biology and Chemistry.

Image Processing (ImageJ)

ImageJ is a Java-based image processing program developed to display, annotate, measure, analyze, and process image data. Scientists use ImageJ for publication and reports.
